This is not an argument to prove or dis-prove God's existence. The truth is I don't know if God exist.
This post is my reaction to a video I saw:
First, we all can agree now that Einstein is wrong in some respects regarding theoretical quantum physics, therefore one must consider the gravitational pull from blackhole in which light cannot escape. Anti-matter is a result of our discoveries into black-holes... so to say darkness exists only as a absence of light is probably not a correct statement. However, I don’t claim to know exactly what the correct statement should be because our language lacks the proper validation of truth in its axioms. So, scientifically, we cannot prove God's existence one way or another because of the limitation of our language (mathematically or otherwise, Gödel’s incompleteness)...
In college, I did study this matter in some depth, and found that Leibniz offered a excellent, philosophical, discussion on the question of evil and reconciliation with God's existence: Monadology-the best possible of worlds. In his book, he argued that evil is necessary part of the God’s will and that it is perhaps conceited for us to assume we know the grand plan of God’s will. In a way the modern theory of intelligent design is based on this principle. Yet sometimes I find the folks advocating for intelligent design takes the topic too far off to constitute a mere narcissistic attempt to put words in God’s mouth…
So I don’t know if God exist, nor do I pretend to know… I believe we will never find out and that is the mystery and value of being human. My suggestion? Live with it and be happy about it. Love your fellow human beings as you would of God if he/she exists… for it is the only way to be sure of our own peace of mind…
